The Line-Up

Rob Muir - Prose

Rob is currently writing his first novel about a delinquent schizophrenic and his imaginary Doberman friend called Redge. He has just completed his first book; a collection of short stories concerning telepathic lobsters and drug-addled seagulls. He may be a bit on the weird side.

Emily Butt - Poetry

Emily is a performance poet currently studying an MA in English Literary Studies at Lancaster University - 'I really discovered my abilities in poetry during my undergraduate degree at the University of Cumbria. I love writing thought provoking and emotional performances to all of my poetry and hope it resonates in everyone around me.'

 Luke Brown - Prose

Luke started writing for fun about seven years ago. After a

chance meeting with Simon Sylvester at a nightclub in Kendal,

the two decided to go on a writer's retreat for a month to an

isolated cottage in the Yorkshire Dales. Here, Simon would

write his debut novel and Luke would write on the back of

receipts. The two fell out over Luke's insistence that

'The Visitors' would be greatly improved if Simon would set

it in Hawaii. Luke is a regular performer who has shared his

work at charity events, C-Art events and at

Ann Wilson's wonderful Verbalize in Kendal.

Steve Spencer

With a bent for wordplay and all manner of musical nonsense, Steve is a fairly regular face on the Spotlight stage (often accompanied by the rest of him). Since his last appearance he is no stranger...

Fee Fee Moy Moy

Fee Fee Moy Moy is the drone folk pairing of Bill Pook and

Rob Lowe, playing tunes with a literary bent. There'll be a

mixture of new songs and the (very) old - expect to hear

tales from the Canterbury pilgrim trail, Hardy's Wessex, and

the waters of Morecambe Bay.
