The Line-Up

John Scott - Poetry

John Scott's recent poetry book 'Voodoo Nation' is at the

moment the one million, eight hundred and eighteen

thousand, four hundred and ninety sixth most popular book

in the amazon bestsellers' list! However, no time to rest on

one's laurels - time to be creating some new poems. Recent

inspiration includes: a cycling accident, Frank O'Hara,

nostalgia for eighties music and a tale of gender and

perambulators - who knows what I'll read on the night!

Pier Group Writers - Prose/Poetry

Tadiwa Mahlunge - Comedy

A 20 year old Maths and Computer Science student at Lancaster University, Tadiwa has been bombing weekly on the Lancaster open mic circuit for 2 years. Touching on topics including bad jokes, terrible jokes and the streets, expect a deafening silence with the occasional sympathetic sigh.

  Plus Music

Jim Greenan

Jim Greenan's songs on accordion involve dark humour and mainly minor chords. He has just taken the plunge and moved to Lancaster from Oxfordshire after 12 years of umming-and-arring.

Luna are a duo from Sunderland Point singing quirky, original songs about love, curlews, butterflies and the magical place where they live. Their music often has a Balkan feel and is played on accordion, guitar and banjo with two voices.

Compere - Simon Baker
